Outside Sales Rep

SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional who will be responsible for selling sales consulting and training services to new and existing clients.  You will use a consultative sales approach, developing, qualifying and closing opportunities while building valued relationships with clients.  You will be a key member of the KLA Group team as we assist clients to grow their businesses. Compensation will include base salary plus a generous commission plan and benefits.


Founded in 1994, KLA Group is a progressive sales consulting and training company serving small and medium businesses across North America with a focus on information technology and telecommunications. We are headquartered in the Denver area. Our focus is to provide sales consulting and training to help our clients build their sales organizations and grow through new business development.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow up on company-generated leads to develop and close new clients
  • Manage client relationships and grow existing client accounts
  • Work with clients to identify their needs
  • Present proposals to meet client needs for projects and services
  • Close proposals to meet monthly quota objectives


REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

  • Minimum 3 years of developing and closing business to business sales in a professional environment
  • Proven success in closing new accounts, growing client accounts, and meeting individual quotas
  • Experience working with business owners and sales executives in the sales process
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • High level of skill with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience managing clients in a CRM system


BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE (BUT NOT REQUIRED)

  • Prospecting including cold calling, email, and social media
  • Information technology and / or telecommunications sales

  • Sales training, consulting or training development
  • Knowledge of IT systems and processes
